Welcome, how nice to meet you.

Hello, my name is Caroline Hawkins and I was admitted as a Reader on my 60th birthday at the end of June 2020, so I won't forget the date!

My journey so far has been a bit of a long and winding road.  It took me about 27 years to finally say yes to donning the Reader scarf but in truth that is really just over 30 years of discernment.  My Dad always used to say 'these things take time', but as I have learnt over the last few years of training when God is involved (as He always is) His timespan is completely different so I supposed the time was ripe for me to embark on the first steps of this ministry which actually began in the Summer of 2015 when I said Yes to Himself and a whole load of doors were flung open. As Psalm 24:7 says it  "...Fling wide the gates, open the ancient doors, and the great king will come in..." who am I to gainsay, because my great King strode in with abundance!
